Q Hi Louise, I am a hairdresser wanting to move out to Dubai beginning of next year. Can I set up a room in my villa on the springs and have people visit me for treatments? Or is it legal for me to go to other houses? I can’t seem to find much information! Thanks

A Ministry of Labour confirmed that this would not be legal. Villas in Springs are residential and any kind of work activity is illegal. Person must rent a proper work space and officially register a beauty salon in order to be able to legally offer this type of services.
