Q  We are moving to Dubai in the summer how difficult will it be to find a good maid?

A There are lots of them out there but my main tip would be to try and talk to their old employer for a reference. Don’t rush it, interview a few.  Make sure your maid understands English well as this will make life much easier. Really think about what it is you want your maid to do – is it just cleaning or will she be looking after the children for large parts of the day, as a cleaner is easy to find but one that is great with the kids sometimes takes longer.
