Ask Louise
Compliments on website, its very helpful and provides up-to-date information. I have one question regarding EIS Jumeirah. My daughter is in KG2 there, and we are happy so far with teacher, how our daughter settled, etc. However, I would like to hear what you think – how does that school works for us long term. We prefer IB to any other curriculum. We are from Europe, but we might end up living in Canada or elsewhere, so IB does give you many options for university choices?
School is fine, its only that it could be a little bit more ‘international ‘, with more variety of nationalities amongst children. What do you say about this school generally? They have introduced IB programme throughout schooling two years ago.
I would say that Emirates International School Jumeirah is a perfect choice for you. It is a very well established school in Dubai experienced in teaching the IB Programme especially further on up the school. On visiting the school on several occasions I have always been impressed with the facilities and being an older Dubai school it has the advantage of spacious grounds offering an array of activities. I would say if you were looking for a school with more variety of nationalities you would find it hard to find one with more than EIS which has over 80 different nationalities which has always been the attraction to many parents so on reflection I think this school was a good choice for your daughter and if she is happy that is fantastic.
