Hi Louise, I am a South African expat and I have a question regarding maids in Dubai. I sponsored a Filipino lady here, paid for her visa and I pay her DHS 1700  a month. She works strictly 8 hours a day and gets a full day off every week. She is giving me a lot of trouble recently, she just does not pitch for work for 3 days at a time, comes late a lot and is very unfriendly with the kids. If I let her go, do I lose all the money I paid for the visa?
