Yes, I think the one you are talking about is called Bu Qtair. It is in a porta-cabin and serves fish freshly caught and cooked in a curry. You eat it with your fingers, it’s messy but delicious.
Travel along Beach Road from the direction of Dubai towards the Marina. Turn right after a restaurant called The Chalet (just before Jumeirah Beach Hotel). Turn right at the end and drive till you see the restaurant which is just past dhows and fishermen’s accommodation. Enjoy!
