As you seem to have your ear to the ground I’m looking for a little advice. We are still desperately short of Godmothers and being a mum with young children I’m not really best placed to know the clubs/coffee mornings to go to in order to find any.  Do you know of any groups that might be worth approaching other than the Ranches Ladies, Expat woman and Dubai Ladies club I’m lost.

Have a look at our Social Clubs Directory and contact some of the groups such as ANZA, Dubai Caledonian Society etc. I also think it would be a good idea to get in touch with the parent groups at the secondary schools in Dubai as I know there are many experienced parents who may be willing to help.  These parents have gone through the early years with their own children so will have lots of advice and experience to give new mothers.
