Hi, I’m moving to Dubai soon from Taiwan and the office I will be working in is located in an area called ‘Garhoud’. Can you advise me on what areas would be convenient to live that are nearby and what secondary schools would be convenient to that area for my 13 year old?

Garhoud does have some residential areas but another area to focus on would be Festival City. There are some lovely villas and apartments in this area, plus a school called Deira International School. As schools are very hard to get into it would be worth checking out our schools directory and contacting other nearby schools, such as Cambridge International School.
