My daughter Indian 20 year old student on my sponsorship – visa issued in Abu Dhabi. She married last year in India and she is now 6 months pregnant. Her husband is now working in Jeddah. She has a marriage certificate approved by the UAE Ministry. I would therefore like to know:

Is the delivery possible here in Abu Dhabi? Can the embassy issue passport as mother & father are both holding Indian passport and will the child  get UAE visa

For the answer I contacted the Move One Immigration Department

• Yes, she can give birth to a baby in Abu Dhabi.
• Yes, the child can have Indian Passport on the bases of supporting documents, issued from Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
• The child can only get UAE visa, if mother (as a sponsor) is working in UAE and sponsored by the employer.
