Just wanted to know if there are any Christmas events, carols, shows…anything family oriented after the 21st of December anywhere in Dubai, that would be entertaining for kids and elderly (bringing my parents to Dubai!)? Would really love to hear some good old Christmas carols, but all seemed to be scheduled before the 21st of December.

They have not put anything up on their facebook or web pages but I know last year both the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Le Meridien at the airport had lovely Carol Concerts (free).  I went to the one at Jumeriah Beach Hotel on Christmas Eve.  Give each of the hotels a ring to find out.  Also Souk Madinat have their Souk Festive Market on right up to December 26 and Ritz Carlton Hotel are having Gingerbread House Decorating Classes on 22nd December from 2 – 4pm with Christmas Carol’s at 6pm.

The Wizard of Oz is on at The First Group Theatre at the Madinat from the 20th December to 31st December.
