Q Hi Louise, i wanted to get good seat covers for my car and would prefer leather seat covers. can you advise me if leather seat covers are good for this region and where i can get a good pair for my car. I have a Nissan Altima.

A The best and most efficient place to get car seats upholstered in leather is a place called “Car Seat” in Al Quoz (behind the old Ace Hardware shop off the Sheikh Zayed Road).
Another very good place is Al Wessam Upholstery. They have craftsmen form Thailand who are skilled at doing as good a job as Car Seat. They are located in Al Qusais.
Prices vary, so put your best bargaining hat on when discussing price.
They will try to convince you that there are many types of leather all of which cost the earth, but in reality all leathers need attention in our searing heat regardless of perceived quality.
