Q I have been looking at properties in Dubai in the lakes and the meadows but they are so expensive. Can you tell me anything about Falcon City, The Villa and Victory Heights ?

A Falcon City is located on the Emirates Road just after Arabian Ranches in the direction of Sharjah. This was meant to be a self-contained and multi-faceted residential, tourist and recreational destination however at present it is just a residential area and you will have to go to Arabian Ranches for facilities such as shops. The Villa is located on the Dubai – Al Ain Road just after the intersection with the Emirates Road. Phase 1 has been developed and consists of 224 villas it is established and much of the landscaping is finished. This is a good location for getting to business districts of Dubai such as DIFC and Business Bay and you definitely get more for your money here. The homes are built in a Spanish style. Again like Falcon City there are no shops as of yet but a Spinneys is planned. Victory Heights is located just off Emirates Road again not fully completed but is well served by shops at the nearby MotorCity. It is a villa and townhouse development designed in Mediterranean styles set round a golf course and is very nearby to Sports City. Again like The Villa, & Falcon City the community areas are yet to be finished and this is one of the main reasons why you will find the prices cheaper than the Lakes and the Meadows developments. You will find 5 bedroom villas in The Villa for Dhs 150,000 per year, Falcon City Dhs 200,000 and Victory Heights Dhs 220,000 whereas in the Meadows a 5 bedroom villa will cost Dhs 270,000.
