Could you please tell me if they will be serving alcohol in Dubai during Eid in October? Also will it be like Ramadan where you cant eat or drink in the day?

No, it is not like Ramadan there is no fasting and alcohol is served  except for the first day, which is expected to be the 4 or 5th October.  It is a big celebration in Dubai and many visitors flock from around the region so shopping malls etc will be open for extended hours.
