Ask Louise | Summer Visit to Dubai
As you know the Atlantis is on the Palm but you must tear yourself away from the coolness of the swimming pools and see Dubai. It will be really hot at that time of year so aim to do any sightseeing in the morning or the evening. I always recommend visitors take a trip down to “Old Dubai” and take an abra trip across the Creek visiting the Spice and Gold Souk maybe stopping for a Lebanese meal at one of the restaurants beside the abra stations. The fountains in the evening at Dubai Mall are a great evenings entertainment. They can be watched from one of the restaurants outside at Dubai Mall or Souk al Bahar however, at this time of year it will be quite hot to eat outside so maybe just watch the dancing fountain show then go inside. You may also like to take a trip to Abu Dhabi and visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which I think is a must see on any visit to the UAE. Also another must is an early evening trip out to the desert. The hotel will be able to arrange these trips for you. On top of all of this if you like to shop we have a great selection of shopping malls including Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates.
With regards to concerts June will be a quiet month as Ramadan will be starting on approximately 18 June but please keep checking Dubai Calendar for updates.
