Arabian Ranches
Arabian Ranches was one of Dubai’s first freestanding developments. The Ranches is a gated community located within the heart of the desert on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road leading to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai. Arabian Ranches offers 12 different subdivisions with different properties including townhomes, semi-detached and freestanding villas of 2 to 4+ bedrooms. Yearly rent ranges from the low end at 170,000 AED for a 2 bedroom home to 500,000+ AED for a larger 4+ bedroom villa.

The landscape and surroundings to the private complexes include lush greenery, lakes, the Arabian Ranches Golf Club and the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. The community amenities include several pools, basketball, tennis courts and grassy playground areas. The Village Community Centre features a Le Marche supermarket, a pharmacy, liquor store, several restaurants, coffee shops and take-away options. The Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Dubai Polo Club are licensed facilities and have several restaurants and bars for entertainment.
The Arabian Ranches Clinic (EHL) is located in Arabian Ranches and the nearest hospital with an emergency room at The Saudi German Hospital. The Jumeirah English Speaking School is the only school in the Ranches, though the waiting list is long and hard to get into. Nearby school options in Al Barsha and Emirates Hills are popular options among expats. Jess School does offer many kids activities (even for non students) from gymnastics, soccer, swimming and karate, but beware of the lengthy waiting list. The Ranches Ladies is a popular women’s expat social group that offers activities such as coffee mornings, social events, and book club.
