The Semmer Villascommunity has many residents who are employed by Emirates airlines. As such, security in this community is highly enforced. Within each community there are established playgrounds, walking paths and an extensive community centre with shops and facilities.
Dubai Silicon Oasis offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes, banks and a post office to satisfy the requirements of its residents. Shops within the Cedre Villas Community Centre include a Spinney’s Supermarket and a DHA Health clinic. In the neighboring Semmer Villas Community Centre there is a Costa Coffee Café, Champion Cleaners, Magrundy’s bookshop, Marina Pharmacy, Spinney’s Supermarket and a SuperTrim hairdresser. There is also a Dubai Silicon Oasis headquarter building on-site that has many banks and fast food restaurant options.
