Jumeirah is a coastal residential area in Dubai. It is located on Jumeirah Beach Road and has several sub-communities including: Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2 and Jumeirah 3. The residential properties range from large detached villas to smaller town homes. Jumeirah is one of the more exclusive areas of Dubai. The area is popular with expats and visitors as there are many entertainment venues in close proximity including: The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, The Madinat Jumeirah and The Burj Al Arab hotel.
Accommodations are scattered throughout the three Jumeirah sub-communities. Town-homes and small villa compounds are prevalent throughout all sections. Garden areas are often communal unless you are in a free standing independent villa. It is important to note you are unable to purchase property in Jumeirah and are only allowed to rent. Yearly rent ranges from the low end at 150,000 AED for a 2 bedroom town home to 300,000+ AED for a larger 4+ bedroom villa.

In addition to being located on the beach, Jumeirah is in close proximity to Safa Park. Wild Wadi Water Park is also popular with expat families. Jumeirah is fortunate to have many shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and medical clinics in close proximity on Jumeirah Beach Road.

There is an Infinity Clinic in Jumeirah that is popular with expat families, in addition to numerous specialty clinics right on Jumeirah Beach Road. The nearest hospital with A&E is either the private Medcare Hospital in Al Safa or Emirates Hospital near Jumeirah Beach. Jumeirah Primary School, Jumeirah English Speaking School, Dubai American Academy, Dubai English Speaking School, Jumeirah College, Dubai College, American School of Dubai, Horizon School Dubai and Kings Dubai are popular expat school options in and near Jumeirah. While there are no formal social clubs in Jumeirah many expat ladies join the Dubai Ladies Club for socialization, sport, and family recreation.
