Tell us a little about yourself
I’m friendly, I like to meet new people, to develop myself and explore the culture of new countries.

When did you move to Dubai and what brought you here?
We moved to Dubai last October, so we are new here 🙂 We choose Dubai because of the safety, sun and other reasons.

Have you been an expat elsewhere and if so, where?
No.

The best advice you were given to prepare you for life in Dubai
We moved here without any advice. I just decided with my husband to move, all the information we have about Dubai we found on the Internet.

What surprised you most about Dubai?
Everything is very simple.

What area do you live in?
International Media Production Zone.

If money were no object, where would you most like to live in Dubai?
Green Community or Jumeirah.

Your favourite Arabic word or phrase you have learned so far
Marhaba.

Your least favourite word or phrase you have adopted since moving to Dubai
No problem, tomorrow.

What has been your best experience in Dubai to date?
Difficult to answer now.

Where do you hope to spend your next holiday?
At home 🙂 to meet up with parents and friends.

Who is the person you most miss when you are in Dubai?
Our parents of course.

What is your favourite restaurant in Dubai?
Japanese restaurant in Madinat Jumeirah, Honyaki.

What grocery item do you most miss from your home country?
Smoked meat products.

When friends and family visit you in Dubai where will you absolutely take them?
The Dubai Fountain at The Dubai Mall.
