Reinventing myself after years of the corporate grind in London, not sure what to do with all this spare time but trying to get out there and meet people. Loving the weather, optimism of Dubai.

4th November 2010, husband’s job

Nope, first timers but loving it

The best advice you were given to prepare you for life in Dubai
expect long delays when trying to get anything done!

What surprised you most about Dubai
Lack of integration between Emiratis and expats

If money were no object, where would you most like to live in Dubai
We live on The Palm so am fine with that!

our 23 year old daughter

I’ll tell you when we have tried a few more but love The Madinat and had an awesome brunch at The Address downtown

What grocery item do you most miss from your home country
soap powder capsules/tablets

When friends and family visit you in Dubai where will you absolutely take them
the red desert, Burj Khalifa, the Madinat, Bastakiyah
