Arabic Conversation & Islamic Education
If you’re looking to give your child an extra boost when it comes to their Arabic studies, why not enroll them in dar el-ilm’s after school activities programme. Classes predominately take place at dar el-ilm in the Trade Centre Tower, Level 4 however soon they will also cater for children living at the other end of the city offering the program at a second location, Bradenton Prep, Sports City.

Hi there, I have a four year old son and am interested in him taking up Arabic lessons. I was wondering if you have any lessons during Saturday as weekdays he gets tired from school. Thanks!

Many thanks for your interest in Arabic lessons for your son. Yes we do have classes on a Saturday. We have structured courses which follows dar el-ilm’s curriculum from 4 years up to 18 years. For his age group, he would join our Reception class where they are introduced to some of hte letters shapes and sounds, learn to talk about themselves, such as ‘My name is..”, learn to simple questions and short sentences. There is no emphasis on writing at this level. However, the classes comprise a variety of activities to make the learning fun and enjoyable and to keep the children motivated, such as storytelling, educational games and flashcards. Classes are held at our premises at the World Trade Centre complex on a Saturday morning either 9am-11am or 11.10am-1.10pm. We also have a Reception Class on a Saturday morning running at Bradenton Prep in Sports City from 9am-11am.
