This is set to change with the UAE introducing a government rating system. Every childrens nursery will be inspected and given a rating ranging from excellent to unacceptable. The ministry plans to publish the nursery ratings on-line.
The ministry also announced yesterday that all nursery workers must attend 30 hours a year of professional development training at an authorized programme. The Ministry of Labour will not renew visas for staff who cannot prove they have done so.

About time they did this. It is so hard figuring out the good ones from the bad ones.
