When relocating to Dubai you may find that you end up sending your children to different schools for a variety of reasons, whether it be that one of your children is of secondary age and the others are in primary school or quite simply, it was impossible to get them all into the same school.

One of the major problems facing parents in this scenario is that many of the schools have different holidays. Today however, it has been reported that the Ministries of Education and Higher Education have declared “that holidays for all public and private schools, colleges and universities in all curricula across the UAE will be unified from the next academic year.”

Expat Echo Dubai would urge parents to check with their individual schools as calendars for next year are waiting Ministry approval.
