Many schools in Dubai believe that education goes beyond the classroom and embark on trips out of the classrooms to local areas and around the world developing the children’s life skills.

Trips may include camping in the desert just outside Dubai to ski trips to Europe, science trips to Turkey, Duke of Edinburgh Award trips to Mauritius and International Award trips to Vietnam to help out with the refurbishment of medical centres. Each of these trips encourage personal discovery and growth.

One child from Dubai started her love of climbing through one of these school trips and now plans to become the youngest British woman to climb the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
