We are presently looking to hire:

Internal Communications Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the internal communications strategy.  This includes writing, developing and implementing internal communications plans, advising on internal communications issues and providing appropriate communications tools.
  • Developing writing and editing content for the intranet, staff newsletters, managers newsletters, and other internal communications channels.
  • Liaising with Country Managers and Product Managers to ensure the generation of creative and relevant articles for internal communications
  • Working with managers to promote effective internal communications and employee engagement
  • Monitoring, researching, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of the internal communications making appropriate recommendations on ideas to enhance the Global Internal Communications experience to employees
  • Developing and managing appropriate internal communications policies and procedures to ensure consistency in approach
  • Updating Internal Communications guidelines on a quarterly basis
  • Supporting HR in the development of job descriptions and company policies
  • Set monthly objectives to cover all areas of interest and communication needs
  • Suggest topics regularly and be pro-active and independent on compiling the information into a presentable format/article
  • Any other duties assigned by the department manager

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum three years of internal communications experience
  • Experience in working on an internal communications site
  • Up to date knowledge of internal communications methods
  • Understanding of the importance of communicating effectively to employees
  • Strong Word and Excel computer skills and experience in mailchimp and other emarketing software preferred
  • Ability to take complex information and create clear articles, relevant to the audience

Job Requirements:

  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organisations
  • Ability to deal with a demanding workload which may include considerable correspondence and to prioritize accordingly
  • Effective communication skills with people at all levels, including the ability to be diplomatic and clear to non native English speakers
