Emirates ID Card to Replace Labour Card

In just three months there will be no need for an employee to have a labour card as this will be replaced by the Emirates ID Card. The end of June marks the deadline for registering expatriates into the ID system. Authorities believe this will make it easier for the employee as they will not have to carry so many cards around with them.
