Finally, Wearing of Rear Seatbelts to be made Mandatory in Dubai

Some of the worst car crashes in Dubai have seen adults and children killed on Dubai roads because they have not been wearing seat belts in the rear of the vehicle. Finally, Dubai Police are preparing a draft bill that once approved will make it an offense not to buckle up in the back.
The driver of the vehicle will be obliged to make sure that passengers in the back are wearing seat belts and failure to do so will mean the driver will be subject to violation. Hopefully we will soon say farewell to children dancing about in the back of cars along Sheikh Zayed Road and the rest of Dubai.
