Dubai is considered one of the best places in the world to shop and has been referred to as “the shopping capital of the middle east.” It is difficult not to find what you are looking for from high end fashion designers to electronics of all sorts and your daily groceries. The near complete lack of a sales tax (some items like cigarettes and alcohol do have a sales tax) has turned this Emirate into a shopping Mecca with over 70 shopping malls.
