Parks in Dubai
We may live in a desert but the Dubai Municipality Parks and Horticultural Department have put a lot of effort into making some lovely parks for residents to enjoy while living in Dubai. The entrance to these parks is very reasonable ranging from approximately AED3 to AED5.
All the parks have grass areas many of which are large enough to have a game of football or rounders on, they all have very good quality play equipment for the children and some of them have bbq pits and jogging tracks. The parks have been planted with an abundance of plants and trees offering much needed shade.
A few of the parks have lady and children only days so it is best to check before hand and be warned they can become very busy on a Friday however the rest of the time they are very pleasant places to take the children for a play, meet up with friends, have a walk or enjoy a BBQ.
