Dubai, being a desert, has a radical change in climate, so when it comes to clothes, it’s important to have a mix for both seasons. The weather here is primary divided into two, summer, which lasts from May to Oct, and winter that extends from November to April.

For summer, it’s nice to have plenty of light weight and natural fabric co-ordinates, such as, shirts, t-shirts, and a few flirty blouses for the night. On a bad day, the temperatures can rise as high as fifty degree centigrade. These tops, teamed with jeans, light weight trousers, shorts, and a few skirts, will pretty much have you covered through summer. A few light-weight dresses for the day and night will have you ready for all occasions. Keeping in mind the beautiful beaches of Dubai, do not forget to pack swim-wear, a cover-up, beach sandals, and a stylist tote, to throw in your sun block and towel.

For winter, a slightly heavy jacket for the night, and a few lighter pieces of outerwear for the day, should be ideal. If you are a biker kind of gal, then a nice bomber jacket and boots will be well used in winter.

Irrespective of where you move, it is important for any wardrobe to have the basics to be self-sufficient for a while. This includes a white shirt and T-shirt, a good fitting pair of jeans, black trousers, a little black dress, and a black classic jacket in clothes. In accessories, black and tan heels (whatever height suits your lifestyle), a tan and black belt, a neutral and convenient sized day bag, a neutral clutch for the night, and a few statement jewelry pieces, are a must. Other than this everything you add will be a bonus, and give you more options to play with.
