Apply and Renew ID Cards On-Line

If you have a credit card residents can now apply for their ID cards on-line.  The on-line application was launched on Thursday for Emiratis and this service will be available to Expatriates within two months.

Applicants for a new ID card will be able to do the pre-registration process, which is normally done at typing centres on-line this includes filling an application form and having documents scanned.  The appointment to visit an Emirates ID registration centre where the final process is completed by having their fingerprints and photograph taken will also be done on-line.

If you already have an ID card but need to renew it then this can also be done on-line without the need to visit a typing centre or the Emirates ID Authority registration centres.
