More Locations Added to Register for Emirates ID Cards

Registering for your Emirates ID card just got easier with the addition of six more locations throughout the UAE.

In Dubai, these new locations are in Satwa, Al Quoz and Jebel Ali Free Zone. These centres are located in Preventative Medicine Centres. From April, 2012 ID cards will become mandatory in Dubai for the issuing and renewal of residency visas.

    can i used my emirates id even i cancel my old visa because my id was expire on 2014,so what shoul i need to do for right action about this matter… thank you for giving me chance to ask question.

    Your ID card is linked to Residence permit, therefore whenever your Residence permit has been changed, your ID card must be changed as well. Both, ID card and Residence permit have the same validity.
