When renting a property in Dubai you will notice that unless you rent a serviced apartment most homes come rented ‘unfurnished’ or ‘partial furnished’ just with the built-in kitchen appliances such as cooker and dishwasher.  Alarm bells may start ringing at the cost of having to furnish yet another house in another country however, due to transient  nature of the expat population in Dubai there can be some really good pickings on the second hand market.

Many of the ‘communities‘ in Dubai have set up their own facebook pages and on these pages many of them have set up ‘community souk’ pages where residents buy and sell furniture, white goods, toys etc.  Other websites include Dubizzle and UAE Classifieds both which are excellent portals for buying and selling anything from a Sofa to a top of the range Ferrari.
