A Few Keen Lunch Spots Open in Dubai During Ramadan
I must admit being a new expat to Dubai had me scratching my head on how I was going to eat, respectfully, during the daylight hours. On the first day of Ramadan I unintentionally fasted at work that day and went immediately home late afternoon to devour a turkey sandwich in the privacy of my own home. However, with a little research you will find there are numerous restaurants that are respectfully and tastefully open to non-Muslims throughout Dubai during Ramadan.
In addition, if you choose to eat lighter during the day there are several Iftar celebrations that are wonderful to participate in. To read and learn more check out our Dubai Iftar Directory.
Here are some restaurants throughout the city open during the daylight hours;

That’s great to have this listing!!!! I was wondering where to go for lunch, it can be challenging sometimes!!!
Thank you for this article!
Park Central Deli & Foodstore has also “tastefully” opened its top floor for guests. Great food, mostly healthy, some organic but all wonderfully mouth watering. They are on the Sheikh Zayed Road at Park Place between The Fairmont and Crowne Plaza. Oh and they are open 24 hours a day! Their site is http://www.parkcentralworld.com

I believe Lime Tree Al Quoz and Jones the Grocer are open for takeaway only…
I feel obliged to share as I feel like this has been my hang out for the past 3 weeks.
Considering the amount of choice on the menu, you won’t be surprised why I have been there so often.
