Swiss Art Gate UAE is proud to present AAYAAT, a calligraphy exhibition taking place during the Holy month of Ramadan at the Park Hyatt Dubai in the Creek Ballroom foyer. The exhibition features the highly acclaimed Narjes Noureddine, Husam Ahmed and Khaled Mahmoud Nafeesi, and is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm throughout the Holy month.

• Narjes Noureddine
Narjes Noureddine was born in Abu Dhabi in 1975, and graduated with a Diploma in Financial Studies. She worked in the banking sector until 2006, when she devoted herself to the art of Arabic Calligraphy. She enrolled in Sharjah Institute for Arabic Calligraphy in 2000, and then continued her studies at Calligraphers’ Studios, where she trained with Khaled Al Saai – a well renowned calligraphy artist.
• Husam Ahmed
The Egyptian calligrapher, Husam Ahmed Abdul Wahab was born in 1972 and graduated from Muhammad Ibrahim School of Calligraphy in Alexandria in 1998, and then studied interior design at the Higher Institute of Art in Alexandria. He has participated in many international visual arts exhibitions such as Germany, Spain, Austria, Denmark and Turkey. Husam was awarded with the third prize in the 8th Al Burda Calligraphy Competition in Contemporary Style.
• Hafiz Khalid Nafeesi
Pakistani calligrapher, Hafiz Khalid Nafeesi, joined the Al Madina University in Lahore, Pakistan, and graduated with a degree in Islamic Law, Sharia’a Al Islamia. He taught at the same university for two years. Since this time Hafiz knows the complete Holy Qura’an by heart. Hafiz Nafeesi also studied Arabic Calligraphy with well renowned calligraphers Abd Al Salam Yousifi and Rashid Qamar.
