Support Two Local Expats Running in The Coolest Marathon on Earth

The Polar Circle Marathon, often referred to as “the coolest marathon on earth,” takes place in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, where temperatures routinely drop to between minus 10C and minus 20oC in October, when the race takes place. Two experienced runners from Dubai will be part of the 100-participant marathon: Neil Munro, Sales & Marketing Director at Hertz UAE, and Diarmuid O’Malley, Publishing Director for ITP Business in Dubai.

Neil and Diarmuid both share a deep understanding of the importance of education in developing countries, and have teamed up as ‘Arctic Xtreme’ to encourage people to help them raise US 50,000 (about AED 180,000) for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) to support the funding of the Sunshine School for 2013.

Full updates from the Arctic Xtreme team can be accessed on Facebook.

If you’d like further information to support Neil and Diarmuid, contact Gill O’Farrell on +971 55 182 4293.
