Disaster and natural calamities are something that we can never predict. No matter where we are, we are not exempted from experiencing this kind of trial in life. A community-based approach to disaster managements is intended to reduce this vulnerability by involving communities as active and engaged components in a disaster management program. For that, Monarch Learning & Development Centre are hosting the first IDRN (International Disaster Response Network) training in the UAE.

The purpose of the International Disaster Response Network (IDRN) is to cultivate community based disaster preparedness, response and management; and to create local, self-sustainable, and functional disaster response groups that can then leverage the strengths of the International Disaster Response Network.
