Calling All Photographers!

Thirteen award-winning photographers are set to share their knowledge and techniques with cameras and photography in the 8th Gulf Photo Plus workshop that will run from March 5 to 10 at the Dubai Knowledge Village.

Some of the stellar cast of photographers who will be sharing their ideas behind the lenses is multi-awarded photojounralist David Burnett, a contract photographer of TIME Magazine and co-founder of the New York-based photojournalism agency Contact Press Images. Others in the list include Gregory Heisler, who will be sharing thoughts on advanced lighting techniques, fashion photographer Claire Rosen, Bobbi Lane for portrait photography and studio lighting, and Chris Hurtt who will be mentoring the beginner and intermediate-level photographers.

Gulf Photo Plus’s Hala Salhi is anticipating a huge crowd to come and learn from the masters of the images and get new insights in capturing picture-perfect moments splendidly.

“This year we are expecting well over 1,200 people to attend from around the Gulf, Africa, Europe and the Far East to learn from our line-up of internationally acclaimed experts at this very affordable event,” Salhi said.

The participants will also be able to see the latest equipment from leading photography brands being showcased by the event sponsors. Exclusive offers and promotions for Gulf Photo Plus attendees will be available.
