Cycle Safe Dubai | April 1, 2011 | Al Qudra Rd

The weather is still great so why not get your bike out this weekend and take to the great outdoors to enjoy the last of the spring weather.

Cycle Safe Dubai, a group of people that work together to create safer riding in Dubai, will be holding a 35km, 65km and 80km ride for beginners and the not so beginners!

The plan;

“Starting from the regular start point on Al Qudra road we have three options for you this week a30 km, 65km and 80km.

The start point is the first tunring circle on the Al Qudra road after the Bypass road, ( on route to Bab Al Shams )

The beginners will run at a slow easy beginners pace of around 20 to 25 km per hour depending on the wind
and the Not so Beginners will run at 25 – 30 km per hour depending on the wind

The 80 km loop will be at a steady pace, it is not advisable to do this if you have not been on your bike for some time, 30 km per hour ave.

The 65km will be an easier pace and over a shorter distance.

The 30 km group is ideal for beginners to get the feel of riding with a bunch, the pace will be that of a beginner 20 to 25 km per
