Madinat Theatre, in association with The Barnyard Theatre, is proud to announce open auditions for this year’s festive family show ‘Beauty and the Beast‘. In true Madinat Theatre tradition of presenting a top class festive show, a specially created version of the family classic Beauty and the Beast will be their pantomime this December, and you could be a member of the cast!
Do you want to be a part of the magic?
If you are aged between 6 to 16 years and can act and dance, come along to the auditions at the Madinat Theatre. They are looking for vibrant young actors who will perform alongside an international cast of professional performers, choreographers and a brilliant director.
Participation is absolutely free!
Audition dates:
- Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October 2013
- Registration opens 10.00am on both days at the Madinat Theatre, auditions begin at 11.00am.
- You will be required to learn a simple routine taught by the choreographer.
- In addition, please prepare one paragraph monologue of your choice.
- Singing is not required for this show.
Important:
- Beauty and the Beast runs from 20 – 31 December with rehearsals starting 10th December 2013
- Please do not audition if you will not be available over the Christmas holidays
- Your presence will be required for all rehearsals and scheduled shows
- The chosen cast will perform at each show as they will not have extras or a rotating cast
- Complete details will be provided at the time of registration
