The Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2011 brings back its three main diverse elements offering over 50 hours of spectacular live entertainment.
Starting with the 2nd edition of the JAZZ WORLD at The Walk Jumeirah Beach Residence hosting free-for-all outdoor concerts. The Jazz World 2011 will feature a line up of local, European, and American blues stars. Followed by the 3rd edition of the charming du JAZZ GARDEN at Dubai Media City featuring a mix of some of the finest British and international jazz artists and musicians. The admission to the Jazz Garden is free for online registration. Tying up with the MAIN GIGS, the three consecutive nights will host ticketed mega concerts featuring international pop stars all taking place at Dubai Media City Amphitheater, the home of the Dubai Jazz Festival.

Jazz World – the blues edition | 20 – 28 January
With its newly themed “blues” edition Jazz World will feature a lineup of local, European, and American blues stars. The 9 days will feature two concerts per night starting January 20 and tying up on January 28. The venue is located in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence at The Walk, opposite the main outdoor parking, mere meters from restaurants and coffee shops where you can sit and enjoy a nice view of the stage. The venue itself will be furnished with picnic tables and other means of seating and some food and non-alcoholic outlets will also be available along with many other attractions.

du Jazz Garden | 8 – 15 February
The charming du JAZZ GARDEN at Dubai Media City will feature a mix of some of the finest British and international jazz artists and musicians. After two years of an unforgettable Jazz concerts experience, the Jazz Garden has grown to become one of the most popular and anticipated activities of the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival. The 8 days will feature two concerts per night starting February 8 and tying up on February 15. Admission to the Jazz Garden is free for online registration. For non-registered guests, or walk-in guests, ticketing is applied at the door and will AED 150 including 2 drinks however non-registered guests arriving to the venue before 7:30pm will be admitted for free.

Main Gigs | 16 – 17 – 18 February
Tying up with the Main Gigs, the three consecutive nights will host ticketed mega concerts featuring international pop stars all taking place at Dubai Media City Amphitheater, the home of the Dubai Jazz Festival. The three days will feature three concerts per night starting February 16 and finishing up on February 18. Tickets will be available from all Virgin Megastore outlets in the UAE. Also at selected ENOC and EPPCO stations or online from Dubai Jazz Fest,  Time Out Tickets and Ticketing Co.
