Dubai Vertical Marathon | 13 April, 2012 | Jumeirah Emirates Towers

Step up to the challenge and join proud sponsor Move One on the 13th April, 2012 for the 10th anniversary of this exciting event. A physical challenge for a great cause, the Vertical Marathon is a stair climb up the 52 floors of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, in aid of Médecins Sans Frontières’ (MSF) humanitarian work. All proceeds are donated to MSF each year to contribute towards emergency medical aid provided in more than 60 countries worldwide. To date, a total of more than one million dirhams has been raised by this event, and we hope 2012 will be another record year.

The Race

Sign in: 6:30 – 7:30am
Start time: 8am
Venue: Jumeirah Emirates Towers (Office Tower), Sheikh Zayed Road. Dubai
Course: 52 floors, 265 metres, 1334 stairs

Features
• Open to both competitive and non-competitive runners

Since this is a charity event, we encourage participants to use the sponsorship form provided and encourage your family and friends to raise extra funds to support your stair climb. Some participants in the past have been extremely successful in doing so and have thus contributed a substantial amount to MSF’s humanitarian missions around the world.
