2012 Dog Training Courses

The Paws Pet Planet dog training centre in Dubai aims to help owners train and manage their dogs so they are relaxed, happy and sociable. They aim to promote understanding between owner and dog, thereby strengthening your relationship with your dog. Paws Pet Planet only use reward based training and behaviour modification methods and their highly trained staff are fully qualified to assist.

Beginners Obedience
This beginners obedience course (Level 1) is ideal for both puppies and adult dogs who have not received training before or who may know a few commands that may or may not be responded to! The course starts with the basics and you and your dog will benefit whether you have little or no knowledge about training.
Date: Saturdays. 21 Jan – 11 Feb

Intermediate /Level 2 Obedience
This Intermediate obedience course (Level 2) is designed to help you and your dog progress further with your training. This course is the next step for progression from Level 1. As with all the classes, the course structure is fun, informative and provides great socialisation for your dog. You and your dog must have attended the Level 1 obedience course prior to attending Level 2.

K9 Friends FREE Obedience Lesson!
Held on a monthly basis (approximately), Paws Pet Planet are pleased to offer all K9 Friends dogs that have been adopted in the last 3 months (of dated lesson) a free advice and training lesson. You must have received your voucher from K9 (no admittance without voucher) and all Paws Pet Planet’s T&C’s apply, including required Kennel Cough vaccination at least 5 days prior to attending. This lesson is NOT suitable for dogs with aggression/anti-social issues. Advanced booking compulsory.

Just For Fun! Saturday Dog Club
This course is for those who would like to learn how to teach their dogs something new and fun! You will learn how to teach tricks, new obedience commands and agility and flyball are also included! Lots of games will be played and Clicker training is also offered. A minimum of basic obedience is required to join this course, however excellent or intermediate obedience is not required.

Agility &/or Flyball Beginners
This course is designed to provide progression onto the equipment. The classes are designed so that each owner and dog will be making use of equipment at all times and you and your dog will rotate from one piece of equipment to the next. During this course Flyball training will be included for those dogs who love the tennis ball! This course is about fun, fun, and then a bit more fun!

Puppy Socialisation & Education Course
This course, aimed at new puppy owners, is designed to provide essential knowledge of how to care for and train their puppy to ensure a well adjusted and confident dog that listens to their owner. Puppies must be under 18 weeks old when starting the course.

For payment of classes you can pay in advance in person at Paws Pet Planet. They hope to have an online payment facility shortly. Your place is not confirmed until they receive part or full payment. For the first lesson be sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the first lesson to arrange paperwork, vaccination card copies etc.
