The DP World Tour Championship takes place at The Jumeirah Golf Estates Dubai 14th-17th November. As a pre-cursor to this wonderful tournament, is the “The Peter Alliss Golf Day and Dinner” sponsored by Barclays.  This will be taking place on Monday 11th November 2013. The day falls into two parts: a golf tournament in the afternoon on the famous Emirates Golf Club Majlis Course, and a Gala Dinner with guest Speaker Peter Alliss in the evening being held on the Royal Majlis Lawn.

The hosts are the world famous Emirates Golf Club Dubai. A truly magnificent Golf Course in breathtaking surroundings.

The golf tournament in the afternoon (12.30 shotgun start) will be full of surprises; prize holes of course, but a few unexpected bonuses as players move around the course. As part of the package, each player will receive (gratis) a bag of golfing “goodies” – not throw-away items, but some special (and useful) mementos from the day. The competition will be an individual Stableford, played in 4-balls, but don’t worry if your party is less than 4 – they will arrange the 4-ball for you. Carts will be provided and the start-sheets will let you know what is happening on every hole.

The golf completed, you can relax in the top-class clubhouse facilities and await the evening’s entertainment.

The Gala Dinner will begin at 7.30 p.m. A delicious 3-course dinner with beverage package is included in the ticket price. Peter Alliss will deliver the after-dinner speech followed by a Q & A session where guests can put their questions to Peter.

Of course no event would be complete without prizes and so a variety of presentations will be made to players by Peter Alliss during the evening. They also have a few things ‘up their sleeve’ for those unable to attend the afternoon golf, so everybody could potentially walk away with something on the day.
