Prime Dubai’s monthly fashion exhibition at Sunset Mall officially launches
The event features over 40 upcoming designers and new brands with various pieces on sale. Featured designer, Lia Staehlin, recently designed a unique jewelry set for Her Highness Sheikha Hana Al Qassimi
The parent company behind successful events such as the Safa Park and Uptown Mirdif Flea market, Green Spot Entertainment, established a new entrepreneurial exhibition aiming Dubai’s most stylishfashionista crowd. Prime Dubai Fashion Exhibition is a monthly event bringing together new talents and trends of UAE’s pioneering fashion industry and at the same time creating a platform for those with unique fashion related imports as well as those eager to discover innovative talent in design.
Visitors to Prime Dubai can look forward to a wide variety of international and local fashion newcomers from high-end couture, to Arabic styles ensembles, abayas as well as jewelry and accessories.
Melanie Beese, founder of Green Spot Entertainment said, ‘Prime Dubai is a new and much needed platform for those aspiring newcomers and trend-setters in the fashion scene to reach their markets. We want to position this event regionally as a source and home for entrepreneurs of the fashion industry to establish their presence in the region.

Prime Dubai Fashion hosts over 45 designers showcasing and demonstrating their latest designs and talents. One of the designers featured in the exhibition is Lia Staehlin, a German Jewelry designer. Lia has been commissioned to design collections for Her Highness Sheikha Hana Al Qassimi of Ras Al Khaimah. Her interactive exhibition not only displays some of her pieces, but also allows guests to participate in the process of gold being forged, as well as live creations of personalized pieces jewelry.
Other interesting exhibitors include for example Rana Al Sayyed, creator of her own label Ranazone, under which she started designing 3 years ago. A former and very fashionable TV personality, she struggled to find suitable clothes when she started wearing the hijab, and so eventually created her own, funky designs for the modern Muslim woman.
A very different focus of this event is on pre-loved as well as vintage fashion. Audrey’s Cat is one of the participants in this category, showcasing her range of antique and vintage jewelry in Sunset Mall, including pieces from 1800 thru’ 1980s.
The pair behind Green Spot Entertainment, Melanie Beese and Monica Kubik, started collaborating in 2013 after meeting several years prior working for the same exhibition organizer. Having in the past experienced the challenges of getting a new business off the ground. ,
Prime Dubai Fashion Exhibition takes place on the second Saturday of every month at Sunset Mall, from 3pm – 9pm. There is plenty of parking available underground.
Prime Dubai Fashion guests are invited to dine at Taste of Fame, the homegrown celebrity themed restaurant offering hip dishes served in an interactive movie themed environment.
