Jamie’s Italian restaurant partners with Hartland International School and launches the Young Chef Award
One of Dubai’s most exciting new schools, Hartland International School is raising awareness for healthy cooking for children by launching the ‘Young Chef Award’ competition in partnership with the famed restaurant, Jamie’s Italian, located at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The competition invites children to participate in a kitchen cook-off to re-create a healthy meal using fresh ingredients and creative cooking methods. Those that are shortlisted will then be invited for a final cook-off to win a spot to showcase their winning creation on Jamie’s Italian Weekend Special Boards, as well as the chance to win many other prizes such as laptops, book vouchers, dining vouchers and a day tour of Jamie’s Italian with an exclusive cookery class.
Speaking about the competition, Jamie’s Italian Assistant Manager, Luis Campos said: “The ‘Young Chef Award’ is an opportunity for budding Chefs to show off their culinary skills at the famous celebrity Chef’s restaurant. We love giving children the opportunity to learn about food and challenge themselves in the kitchen, by promoting the art of cooking and we look forward to welcoming the best young chefs of Dubai to our restaurant.”
