Santa Visits Dubai
Did you know that Santa makes his way to anywhere and everywhere – even to the Desert?
Bring the kids to have their photo taken with him at Wafi, Ski Dubai or meet him in the desert for a fun party with Dubai’s Irish Society. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to these events as Santa will be making an appearance at most Dubai hotels’ Christmas Day brunches.
Ski Dubai
Santa will be visiting Ski Dubai on December 18th to the 24th in the Snow Park from 5 to 10pm. Bring the kids to have their photo taken with Santa. Santa will also be handing out presents. There will be performers singing and dancing to Christmas songs.
Moreover, there will be a competition starting on December 11th that will run on their Facebook page. Children will have to fill up a small form with their Christmas wish list to give Santa and the selected winners will have dinner with him in one of Ski Dubai’s party rooms.
Wafi
Visit Santa’s secret grotto until 24th December.
Grotto Timings : Saturday to Thursday from 10.00am to 10.00pm and on Friday from 10.00am to 11.00pm.
The little ones can have their photograph taken with Santa in his grotto and receive a cuddly ‘Toy Soldier’, a pass for Encounter Zone, one free tea or coffee at The Square, one free child’s meal per adult when one main adult meal is ordered at Biella restaurant, Wafi and a chance to win a fabulous family holiday for four to Vienna courtesy Austrian Airlines. Watch the Wafi Festive Light and Sound show spectacular a unique experience for the entire family and its absolutely free! Four shows every evening from 6.30pm onwards, every hour until 9.30pm.
Santa in the Desert
Dubai Irish Society
December 9th, 12pm – late
We will be hosting our annual Santa in the Desert event on December 9th. We will have fun and games including a kiddie play area and Dubai’s own Declan O’Sullivan, aka The Paddyman will be leading the singing by the campfire.
We will be charging 100AED a car for members, 120AED for non-members.
Santa Claus will be arriving about 2pm (in a big red Hummer) and delivering presents to all of the kiddies.
On the day, please bring a gift clearly labeled with your child’s name, for Santa to present.
All are welcome, so please invite friends, Irish or otherwise.
