South Africa’s Freedom Day commemorates the first democratic elections held in South Africa on 27 April, 1994. The South African community in Dubai welcomes South Africans and all nationalities to join them on 13 April to celebrate this historic day. The festivities will take place at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina and The Westin Dubai.
The South African Women’s Association will be hosting “Souk al Sawa” where talented South African vendors will be showcasing a wide spectrum of proudly South African made products and foodstuffs.

Location: The Westin Dubai
From 12 midday till 7pm Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Spa will host a South African family day with kids zone, talent show, Potjiekos competition and much more. Then from 7pm on the festivities will continue on Barasti Beach where Just Jinjer will be performing.
