Open Auditions for the First Production!

Drama Dubai are thrilled to announce the inception of The Desert Players, their very own theatre group, dedicated to nurturing local talent and producing quality theatre here in Dubai. Open auditions for the fledgling production will take place at their new rehearsal space from September the 16th to October the 1st.

Who are the Desert Players?
The Desert Players are a group of local theatre lovers committed to producing high quality, regular and relevant productions in Dubai.

Can I join?
Regular open auditions will be held for anyone who wants to become a Desert Player.

We are currently casting for our first production: Almost, Maine by John Cariani; to be performed at the Kilichand Studio, Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December 2011.

Open Auditions September 2011:
Friday 16th   10 – 12am
Tuesday 20th   7 – 9pm
Tuesday 27th   7 – 9pm
Friday 30th   10 – 12am
